The article considers the activities of author’s camps in Kostroma region as one practices non-formal education. task research is to understand how educational process organised camps. base author's camp role-playing games «Centaur» and experience pedagogic team developing conducting thematic shifts for teenagers 2009-2020. technology a situational epic game with historical plot. Authors analyse five cases that demonstrate logic emergence effects directly during event upon its completion. content relates subject event, specifics situational-role-playing game, additional classes offered teenagers; non-directive requirements addressed participant. defines mechanisms interaction between teenager informal environment (challenge resonance). challenge mechanism assumes elements provoke participant’s activity, causing various experiences (not only positive nature). Accepting challenge, takes subjective position makes efforts achieve chosen goal. resonance demonstrates when meeting an environment, discovers those which it feels emotional response. Estimating comfort fascination classes, seeks master new skills, skill solving required tasks. Both work where involvement child expects selectivity volunteerism.
